A Closer Look
The features designed into the Scubapro MK25 A700 make this regulator one of the sleekest looking and most efficient regulators around. It has all the right features to make using this regulator a pure joy.
Scubapro designed the first stage of this regulator with superb piston balance which results in a high rate of flow. Not only does this regulator have the traditional 2 high pressure ports and 4 low pressure ports on the side of the first stage, but Scubapro includes a 5th low pressure point on the end of the first stage for good measure.
The first stage also comes equipped with small fins (or ridges) which helps to dissipate heat.
The second stage of this regulator is also a balanced system, which results in this regulators overall high performance and ease of inhalation. It has a Venturi vacuum assist, and an adjustable air flow know that allows for maximum air flow when turned to the high position, or allows you to decrease your air flow if need be.
The control of the inhalation effort is located conveniently on the side of second stage and allows for easy breathing at any depth in any temperature of water.
We find the Scubapro MK25 A700 regulator to be a well built and high quality regulator that is simple to use and looks great with your other diving gear. Built to be used in both cold and warm waters this regulator is versatile and highly functional. We do however, feel that the price of this regulator makes it more suitable for those who view diving as a long term hobby or career since the cost of this regulator is far more expensive that most novices could afford.
Users who can afford the price of this regulator are glad they purchased it. They find that this regulator is lightweight, well made, and makes breathing at all depths easy and comfortable.
While the Scubapro MK25 A700 may be a bit expensive for some people, the efficiency of this regulator makes it well worth the price for those who can afford it.
